2 men get prison for molesting brothers

TAVARES, Fla., June 3 (UPI) -- Two men have been sentenced to prison for molesting a friend's three young sons at Florida hotels.

Jerry Ester Wiley, 45, of Lady Lake, Fla., and Miles Esterson, 28, of London pleaded no contest to a charge of lewd and lascivious conduct, the Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday. A judge sentenced Wiley to 10 years and Esterson to five.

They had been scheduled to go on trial this week and could have received life sentences if convicted by a jury.

Wiley, a registered sex offender, and Esterson both work with computers and met online. Investigators say the two men molested the three young boys during two summers while taking them on trips, including one to Walt Disney World.

In at least one hotel, the father, a friend of Wiley, and his daughter were asleep in a room next door while his sons were being molested. But police said they found no evidence he knew what was going on or that Wiley had been convicted in 1986 for sexual assault on children in Mount Dora.
