WILMINGTON, Del., May 18 (UPI) -- Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, was released from a Delaware hospital Tuesday where he was recovering from a stroke.

Results of neurological exams were "perfect in all arenas," including motor skills, language function and cognitive assessment, Biden's physician, Dr. Robert Rosenwatter of Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience in Wilmington, said in a statement.

Biden suffered the minor stroke on May 11.

Rosenwatter said Biden could return to work after "a brief period" of rest at home.

Delaware Department of Justice spokesman Jason Miller Biden was "feeling great and is looking forward to returning to work full time as soon as he can. We cannot wait to have him back."
