"I guess being on 2nd Street in SS uniforms on a Friday night is a way to incite a semi-riot," club owner Stephen Simon said, adding that the men were mostly ignored and mocked during the show.

"As a Jew, I am totally offended by them wearing the uniforms. But as an American citizen, I totally uphold their right to dress however they want to dress," Simon said.

An witness told the newspaper the crowd punched and kicked the men in Nazi garb and used beer bottles and cue balls as weapons although Internet message boards said the attack was not quite so violent.

No arrests were made, and no assaults or hospitalizations were reported, a police spokeswoman said.
