WASHINGTON, March 18 (UPI) -- The $18 billion bill designed to spur employment will be signed into law Thursday by U.S. President Barack Obama.

The bill, approved Wednesday by the Senate on a bipartisan vote, includes incentives and tax breaks to businesses to spur job growth and strengthen the private sector, the White House said.

Congressional and Cabinet members, Obama's economic team members and representatives from small business and workers are scheduled to attend the ceremony in the Rose Garden.
