Buhs was arrested in July when a Martin County Sheriff's SWAT Team and other authorities served Buhs with a search warrant after Buhs sold fireworks to an undercover police officer, TCPalm.com said.

Buhs's background includes possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. State and federal officials seized approximately $100,000 in explosives, illegal fireworks and a number of weapons, records showed.

Bomb disposal specialists with the Martin County Sheriff's Office in August disposed of the fireworks at the department's gun range property.
