ERLANGER, Ky., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Pro wrestlers Gregory "Hurricane" Helms and Christopher "Jericho" Irvine were arrested on public intoxication charges in Kentucky, jail officials said Thursday.

Officials at the Kenton County jail confirmed the two World Wrestling Entertainment wrestlers were arrested early Wednesday on charges of public alcohol intoxication, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

Police in Erlanger, Ky., allege Helms, 35, and Irvine, 39, were intoxicated while visiting a local gas station. Specifics of the alleged incident were not released.

Jail officials said both wrestlers paid $120 in fines and were released within an hour after being arrested.

The Enquirer said Helms and Irvine were in the region for a wrestling event Tuesday night at Cincinnati's U.S. Bank Arena.
