Missing girl's kin caught in drug sting

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- The father and former stepmother of missing Florida girl Haleigh Cummings were arrested in a prescription drug trafficking sting, Putnam County officials say.

Ronald Cummings, 26, and Misty Croslin, 18, could face a sentence of 25 years on arrests on multiple counts of trafficking in prescription medications, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel said.

Haleigh Cummings, then 5, gained national attention when she disappeared from Cummings' trailer home last February. Croslin, who was baby-sitting while Cummings was working a night shift, told investigators that she woke up and Haleigh was gone.
