ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Customs officials say the shipment of opium they seized at the Anchorage International Airport this week was bound for Wisconsin.

The 40 kilograms (88.2 pounds) of opium came from Thailand and was passing through the FedEx hub in Alaska when it was picked up during a routine X-ray of a shipment of wooden car statuettes.

Jerry McGee, spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, told the Anchorage (Alaska) Daily News that no arrests had been made and it was not known who was expecting the package in Wisconsin.
