Father charged with endangering son

CINCINNATI, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- A Cincinnati man was arrested after allegedly striking his son's genitals with an electrical cord for stealing the father's earrings, police said.

Gregory Sanders, 33, was charged with felony child endangerment and ordered held on $25,000 bond in the Hamilton County Jail, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Monday.

Sanders allegedly struck his 13-year-old son's genitals and shaved the boy's hair and eyebrows off Saturday as punishment for the boy allegedly taking a pair of the father's earrings, police said.
