NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- The white powder sent to three embassies to the United Nations in New York was flour, officials said Tuesday as envelopes arrived at two more missions.

Most of the envelopes contained similar notes, with brief messages mentioning al-Qaida, The New York Times reported. All were postmarked in suburban Dallas.

Testing so far has found no signs of anthrax, investigators said.

The Uzbek, Austrian and French missions received envelopes Monday. The others were sent to the British and German missions.

The case is being investigated by the Joint Terrorism Task Force, which plans to test the envelopes for DNA.
