CINCINNATI, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- A 9-year-old Cincinnati girl allegedly was raped by a fellow student on her school's bus, authorities said.
The girl's mother reported the alleged rape on the Robert Paideia Academy bus to police two days after the incident on Nov. 3, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Tuesday.
"This is a very troubling allegation, very disturbing," said Janet Walsh, a school district spokeswoman.
No arrests have been made. Officials from the school, the school district, the bus company and the police are investigating the matter, the newspaper reported.
The police report gave no details on a suspect, but Walsh said like the victim the suspect is a student at the school.
It is not clear whether the bus driver reported the incident, Walsh said.
