BEMIDJI, Minn., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A 21-year-old man in Red Lake, Minn., was indicted on charges he sexually abused two brothers, ages 6 and 7, authorities said.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune said Thursday that Eagle Wind Lajeunesse is facing one count of aggravated sexual abuse and two counts of abusive sexual contact for allegedly sexually abusing the unidentified boys.

Authorities said Lajeunesse was an acquaintance or boyfriend of the boy's mother, who also was not identified. The alleged abuse took place during several months this year.

The three counts against Lajeunesse, who was convicted in 2001 of sexually assaulting a boy, have the Minnesota man facing a possible life prison sentence if convicted on all charges.

The Star Tribune said Lajeunesse was 13 when he was convicted of binding another boy with Christmas lights and sexually assaulting him. The unidentified victim, who Lajeunesse also threatened with a power drill and a knife, managed to escape.
