The two suspects hit driver Richard Miller, 54, on the head with an unspecified object and left him handcuffed inside an empty trailer, police said.

Miller, who had been sleeping inside his truck when the robbery began, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

The two individuals escaped with the trailer full of liquor by detaching it from the man's tractor and attaching it to their own truck, police told the Star.
