SEDONA, Ariz., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- A final police report on the investigation into three deaths at a Sedona, Ariz., sweat lodge could be delayed, authorities say.
A spokesman for the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday detectives were still awaiting toxicology results on the body of Liz Neuman of Prior Lake, Minn., who has been identified as the third and final victim of the Oct. 8 incident, The Arizona Republic reported.
Neuman's death from multiple organ failures has triggered a call from U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., for an investigation of spiritual and financial guru James Arthur Ray, who ran the sweat lodge ceremony. The Republic said Klobuchar has sent letters to the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder asking for inquiries.
The newspaper reported Ray has kept up his schedule of public appearances since the deaths, and was to appear at a free event in Toronto Wednesday night.
Police say Ray was inside the sweat lodge with 60 people at the time of the incident.
