PARIS, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- The wife of Britain's prime minister says she was "a bit bemused" by a caricature of her posted on the official Web site of France's first lady.

The line drawing of Sarah Brown portrays the wife of Prime Minister Gordon Brown in need of urgent dental and hair care, The Daily Telegraph reported Wednesday.

In a remark posted on the social networking service Twitter, Sarah Brown implied she was less than enthusiastic about the portrait.

"Love Carla Bruni Sarkozy's new Web site though bit bemused by illustration of me," tweeted Sarah Brown.

The French first lady's Web site crashed just minutes after going live Monday because of the overwhelming number of visits.

Besides Sarah Brown, the Sarkozy photo gallery included unflattering line drawings of U.S. President Barack Obama and wife Michelle, along with Britain's Prince Charles and Camilla, duchess of Cornwall.
