Teen solves centuries-old math problem
VIENNA, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- A Serbian government official is scheduled to address the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Wednesday to discuss concerns over Kosovo.
Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will address the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna. OSCE officials scheduled a meeting for the Permanent Council to hear from Jeremic and discuss OSCE security operations in Kosovo. The security situation in the region remains tense after Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia in February.
Despite the recognition from most EU countries and the United States of Kosovo's independence, the potential for conflict between Serbia and Kosovo has many security authorities watching the evolving situation closely.
Officials say Jeremic is also expected to address "Serbia's and the OSCE's cooperation and the work of the OSCE Mission to Serbia," the release said.
