JAKARTA, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Five people aboard an Indonesian rescue helicopter escaped relatively unharmed Wednesday when the aircraft went down in the ocean, authorities said.

The National Search and Rescue Agency told the Jakarta Post one of the three passengers and two crew members aboard the chopper suffered a broken shoulder in the crash.

The helicopter was hovering near the water on what was described as a "free jump" drill when it suddenly dropped into sea. The cause was under investigation and weather did not appear to be a factor, agency officials told the Post.
