Chinese P.M. visits Egypt

CAIRO, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao began a two-day official visit to Egypt, arriving Friday in Cairo.

The trip is Wen's second to Egypt, Xinhua, the official Chinese government news agency, said. He will follow up the official part of the trip with the opening ceremony Sunday of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in the resort of Sharm-el-Sheik.

Wen's schedule includes a meeting with President Hosni Mubarak, talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Ahmed Nazef, and a speech to the Arab League.

Nazef met him at the Cairo airport.
