TOKYO, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- A gunman fired at three people in Yokohama, outside Tokyo, Friday before killing himself, Japanese police said.

One of the three was seriously wounded, the Mainichi Daily News reported. The attacker later barricaded himself in an office and apparently shot himself, the report said.

Police said the gunman, about 60 years old and calling himself a gang member, was talking to the three men in front of a real estate company's office when he suddenly began firing at them, wounding all three, one of them seriously. There was no immediate word on the extent of injuries suffered by the other two.
