VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Canadian forensics officials are examining yet another human foot in a running shoe found washed ashore in British Columbia, police said.

The foot was found Tuesday night by two men walking on the Pacific Ocean beach in Richmond, south of Vancouver, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said.

It was in a white size 8.5 Nike running shoe, the Vancouver Sun reported.

Since August 2007, six feet in various brands of running shoes have been found on southwestern British Columbia shores and a seventh just south of the U.S. border in Port Angeles, Wash.

In the most recent case, RCMP Cpl. Annie Linteau said there is no evidence of foul play, the Globe and Mail reported.

The provincial coroner's service is running DNA tests on the foot to determine gender and possible identifying elements, the reports said.
