Two people have been arrested in connection to a shooting that left a father dead in Redondo Beach, Calif. on Friday.

Eduardo Antonio Losa, 42, was arrested on suspicion of murdering Bobby Darrin Reynolds, 38, who was gunned down at close range Friday, according to police.

Shelby Ann Johnston, 29, was also arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to the murder.

Erick Julian Ortega, 27, of South Bay, was identified as a person of interest Monday after a Chrysler registered to his name was found near the crime scene.

Ortega, who is said to be a reputed gang member, is able to communicate with other gang members who are in custody in state prison and distributes the proceeds of narcotics to state prison inmates, said Capt. Jeff Hink, of the Redondo Beach Police Department.

In addition, Ortega has prior arrests for robbery and narcotic offenses.
