A Texas woman who is being charged with murder after she fatally stabbed a man with a stiletto heel claims she did it in self defense.

Ana Lilia Trujillo, 44, was arrested Sunday after the Houston Police Department responded to an assault-in-progress phone call that led them to The Parklane high-rise condominium complex in Houston’s Theater District.

Trujillo opened the door for police who found her alleged boyfriend laying on the floor of the residence with multiple stabbed wounds to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Trujillo was subsequently arrested for fatally stabbing the 56-year-old man before 4 a.m. on Sunday. The man's identity has not yet been released by officials.
