OTTAWA, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- British Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, will visit 12 communities during a 10-day visit to Canada next month, the prime minister's office said Saturday.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported the royal couple will make stops in Newfoundland and Labrado, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia Nov. 2-12. The list of cities on their itinerary wasn't provided.

It will be the prince's 16th trip to Canada but his first since marrying Camilla, who holds the royal title of duchess of Cornwall. His last Canadian visit was in spring 2001.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip are to visit Canada in 2010. She was last in Canada in 2005 when she made the trip with Prince Philip.
