DENVER, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Thirteen people were hurt Thursday when a public transit bus crashed into a light pole in Denver, a Regional Transportation District official said.

District spokesman Scott Reed told The Denver Post none of the people hurt in the morning crash appeared to have life-threatening injuries with most injuries ranging from a possible concussion to a broken nose.

Reed said the unidentified driver of the bus was among those injured.

The RTD official told the Post no other vehicles were involved in the accident, which was being investigated to determine its cause.
