NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- O.J. Simpson's ex-girlfriend, Christie Prody, said Wednesday she was abused and feared for her life during their 13-year relationship.

Prody, 34, was on ABC's "Good Morning America" where she said Simpson also obsessed about his slain ex-wife, Nicole, and that he said Nicole "had it coming because of her lifestyle."

"He would always bring her up," Prody said. "It was a non-stop issue with him."

Prody said she assumed Simpson was referring to Ron Goldman when he criticized the people Nicole hung out with prior to their 1994 killings.

Simpson was acquitted in a sensational trial, however, he was found liable for their deaths in a civil trial.

Prody conceded she put up with years of abuse, threats and manipulation from Simpson but felt she "had no choice" but to stay with him."
