SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- A drifter has been charged in California with leaving two jars of baby food laced with aspirin on shelves of San Jose drugstores.
David Conklin, 29, was arrested at City Team Ministries Friday, the San Jose Mercury News reported. He told workers there he had done something bad and needed to talk to police.

Conklin identified one store where he said he had left a jar of Gerber's oatmeal baby food and gave directions to another store. Police found jars of baby food that appeared to have been tampered with at both stores.
Anyone who has purchased baby food in the city that appears to have been tampered with is asked to call police.
