SEATTLE, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- A Seattle woman has been charged with threatening witnesses in her sons' coming trial on prostitution conspiracy charges.
Glenda Ann Thomas, 40, allegedly told one witness she could have him sexually assaulted in jail, Seattlepi.com reported. She allegedly claimed she "knows people inside" who would be willing to harm the witness because he is a member of the Westside Street Mobb who has agreed to cooperate with the prosecution.
Thomas's sons, Deshawn Cashmoney Clark, 19, and Shawn Sylvester Clark, 21, are scheduled to go on trial next month. Prosecutors say the brothers, who allegedly belong to the Mobb, a gang investigators say is affiliated with the Bloods, conspired to exploit seven women as prostitutes, two of them juveniles.
Thomas is also alleged to have put pressure on three women who allegedly formed part of her sons' stable to keep them off the witness stand. Investigators say she also put the women down.
"Cash's females are all losers," she allegedly said. "He needs to drop them and find new ones."
