Aid workers, pilots released in Somalia

"(Action Against Hunger) wishes to thank the Somali communities and the authorities of the expatriates' countries of origin for their infallible support, as well as the hostages' families for the confidence they entrusted in us," the group said in a statement.

The workers were traveling to an airport in Kenya last November when they were attacked in the central Somali town of Dhusa Mareb, CNN said.

The fate of three Action Against Hunger workers kidnapped in July in northeastern Kenya and taken into Somalia remained unknown, the organization said.
