MIAMI, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Three men died and one was seriously injured in a head-on collision on the Florida Keys' Seven Mile Bridge, police said.

The Chevy pickup carrying the four men was northbound Saturday when it crossed the center line and collided with a tractor-trailer headed south, Lt. Pat Santangelo told The Miami Herald in a story published Sunday.

Pickup driver Joshua Creasman, 20; David Williams, 17 and Devon Venables, 20, all of Okeechobee, Fla., were killed in crash.

Cody Mitzelfeld, 19, a passenger in the pickup was flown to Miami, where he was hospitalized in critical condition, Santangelo said. Dominick Vaccaro, the driver of the tractor-trailer, suffered minor injuries.

Beer cans were found in the back of the pickup, but further investigation was needed to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash, polices said.
