Third suspect arrested in Harvard shooting

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., July 31 (UPI) -- New York City police tracked down the final suspect in a fatal pot robbery in a Harvard dorm, a Massachusetts district attorney said Friday.

Jason Aquino, 23, of Manhattan in New York was arrested Thursday on a Massachusetts warrant. He was charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery among other charges relating to the May killing of a Cambridge, Mass., man, The Boston Herald reported.

"We now have in custody all three men who we believe were involved in the shooting death of Justin Cosby," Middlesex District Attorney Gerard Leone said.

Police said Aquino and two accomplices -- Jabrai Jordan Copney, 20, and Blayn Jiggetts, 19, both of New York -- plotted to steal cash and pot from Cosby, 21, and ambushed him May 18 at Kirkland House on the Harvard campus, the newspaper reported.

The Salem State College student was visiting his girlfriend, a Harvard student, police said. He was shot as he struggled with assailants and died a day later in the hospital.
