SEATTLE, July 29 (UPI) -- Washington state officials say an assistant attorney general resigned after being charged with posting a former neighbor's phone number on adult Web sites.

Jonathan Milstein, 41, of Kirkland will be arraigned in Seattle Aug. 5 on one count of telephone harassment for allegedly submitting the unidentified woman's number to a pair of sites in 2006.

The Seattle Times said Wednesday that, according to documents filed in King County Superior Court, the woman received more than 30 calls from people seeking sexual encounters.

The FBI zeroed in on Milstein last year after linking the Web site ads to his Internet account.

Milstein stepped down this week from his position, in which he acted handled child-abuse and neglect cases for the Department of Social and Health Services.
