Body found in foreclosed LA home

LOS ANGELES, July 19 (UPI) -- An autopsy was being conducted Sunday on the body of a man found dead in a foreclosed Los Angeles home, officials said.

Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department said the body of a 45-year-old man was discovered Saturday in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the city's Westchester neighborhood, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The home is owned by a bank and is listed by a realty firm that specializes in foreclosures and bank-owned properties in Los Angeles and Orange counties, the newspaper said.

Police wouldn't confirm reports that the body was found by a real estate agent showing the house to a prospective buyer, the Times said.
