ATHENS, Greece, July 18 (UPI) -- An anarchist group's claim of responsibility for an Athens bomb attack includes details on where the bomb was planted and how it was made, police said.

Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire said Friday in a statement on the Internet it placed the bomb at the home of former Greek Deputy Interior Minister Panayiotis Hinofotis, the newspaper Kathimerini reported Saturday. The 4-pound bomb was in the backyard.

The group said Hinofotis was targeted because he was in office in December when police killed a teenager at an Athens demonstration. The death was followed by large and sometimes violent protests.

No one was injured in the July 11 bombing.

The group warned Dimitris Papangelopoulos, the head of the National Intelligence Service, he might be the next bombing target, Kathimerini said.
