Soldiers allegedly filmed women showering

BAGHDAD, July 14 (UPI) -- Two U.S. soldiers have been charged with filming and photographing female members of their unit taking showers at Fort Dix, Calif., authorities said.

Sgt. Gilbert Parker and Spc. Matthew Delia allegedly filmed the women while training at Fort Dix last fall before shipping out to Iraq, where they officially were charged last week, the Multi-National Forces Web site reported.

Parker and Delia are National Guardsmen activated with the 266th Military Police Company from Manassas, Va.

Parker is charged with conspiracy, obstructing justice, violating a general order and distributing pornography. If convicted, Parker faces 18 years in prison and a dishonorable discharge.

Delia is charged with conspiracy and distributing pornography, military authorities said. If convicted, he faces 12 years of confinement and a dishonorable discharge.
