Woman gets prison for rape of young boy

ALINGSAS, Sweden, July 6 (UPI) -- A Swedish court sentenced a 39-year-old woman convicted of sexually assaulting an underage boy to 2 1/2 years in prison.

The Alingsas district court sentenced the woman to prison Friday after she was convicted of rape of a child and child pornography, The Local reported Monday.

Authorities said the woman was encouraged to perform oral sex on the boy, who is under the age of 13, and photograph the crime by a 33-year-old man she had been chatting with online.

The man, who used the pictures to demand $1,900 from the woman, was convicted of blackmail and incitement to child pornography. He was sentenced to probation and one year of counselling for sex offenders.
