KINGSTON, N.Y., July 2 (UPI) -- A barber was arrested after allegedly stabbing his brother with a steak knife outside his barbershop in a dispute over $10, Kingston, N.Y., police said.
The fight between Mark Williams, 47, and his brother, John Williams, 48, began Wednesday in the younger Williams' Up in the Cut barbershop and then spilled out onto the street, Detective Lt. Timothy Matthews told the (Kingston) Daily Freeman.
The older Williams was stabbed in the abdomen and treated at a Kingston hospital.
"He'll be OK," Matthews said.
Matthews would not provide further details of the dispute, except to say the older Williams went into his brother's barbershop and the men fought over $10.
The younger Williams was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon, the newspaper said.
