CEBU CITY, Philippines, June 29 (UPI) -- Police in the Philippines say they are searching for a man suspected of killing his two neighbors because they allegedly dumped garbage in his backyard.
Senior Police Officer 2 Rolito Jumao-as said authorities are attempting to locate Isaac Penalosa Orandain, 39, in the shooting deaths of Lyndon Son, 45, and his wife, Maria Melinda, 44, The Philippine Inquirer reported Sunday.
Jumao-as alleges Orandain shot and killed Son and Melinda Saturday morning in the village of Mactan.
The neighbors had been at odds since Friday night over the couple's alleged dumping of garbage into Orandain's backyard, Jumao-as said.
The Inquirer said police suspect Orandain used a revolver in the shooting deaths as no empty shells were found at the scene of the killings.
