WAUKESHA, Wis., June 25 (UPI) -- A West Allis, Wis., man is accused of using Craigslist to threaten a woman featured in area commercials, police said.
Jeffrey A. Blaha, 48, faces a felony charge of making threats to injure for allegedly targeting Heiser Automotive Group spokeswoman Mary Ann Scaffidi, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said Wednesday.
If convicted, Blaha could be sentenced to up to three years in prison.
Authorities allege Blaha used the Milwaukee Craigslist Web site's "rants and raves" section to post complaints about advertisements featuring Scaffidi, including one posting that called for a sexual encounter with the spokeswoman.
Scaffidi complained to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department regarding the April 18 posting, alleging it constituted a sexual assault threat.
The Journal Sentinel said Blaha, whose previous convictions include misdemeanor battery, is due in court on July 6.
