GASTONIA, N.C., June 24 (UPI) -- A woman says she was mistakenly informed by a chaplain at a hospital in Gastonia, N.C., that her husband had been hurt in a car accident.

Misty Harris of Lincolnton, N.C., said she frantically rushed to Gaston Memorial Hospital after a hospital chaplain contacted her and was finally taken to see the accident victim identified as her husband after waiting nearly an hour, WCNC-TV of Charlotte, N.C., reported Wednesday.

Harris said she was shocked to find it was not her husband Marcus after all.

"She's like, 'There's your husband.' I'm like, 'That's not my husband.' She's like, 'What do you mean that's not your husband?' I said, 'That's not my husband,'" alleges Harris, whose husband was safe at work at the time.

Harris said the the individual hurt in the crash was also named Marcus Harris.

WCNC-TV said three unidentified individuals at Gaston Memorial denied knowledge of the mix-up.
