WARSAW, Poland, June 23 (UPI) -- The Polish government has protested Russian television claims Poland and Nazi Germany plotted against the Soviet Union during World War II.

The Polish Embassy in Moscow Tuesday said the state-run Rossiya TV station's report was a falsification of history and will interfere with reconciliation between Poland and Russia, Polish Radio reported.

The Russian television report said the Warsaw government was plotting with Nazi Germany and Japan to invade the Soviet Union, Poland's thenews.pl Web site said.
