WASHINGTON, June 18 (UPI) -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fractured her right elbow after taking a tumble, State Department officials said.
Clinton fell Wednesday afternoon on her way to the White House and was taken to George Washington University Hospital for treatment, The Washington Post reported.
"She was treated at The George Washington University Hospital before heading home," said Cheryl Mills, Clinton's chief of staff. "She will undergo surgery to repair her elbow in the upcoming week."
