ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, June 14 (UPI) -- At least 13 people were killed and 20 more wounded in two attacks Sunday in Pakistan, officials said.

In South Waziristan, a military drone attack killed five militants, CNN reported Sunday.

The U.S. news network reported local and Taliban sources said all those killed were militants.

CNN said in the North West Frontier province, a bomb blast in a market in Dera Ismail Khan killed eight people and injured 20 others.

Police arrested three suspects in the bombing, which was in retaliation for the Pakistani government's military offensive against the Taliban in the region, CNN reported.
