COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 10 (UPI) -- A judge set bail at $150 million for a defendant arrested in what Columbus, Ohio police said was the largest heroin seizure in the city's history.

Roberto Alvarado-Cebrero, 21, was deemed a flight risk after authorities could not verify his Social Security number, the Columbus Dispatch said Wednesday.

Alvarado-Cebrero was arrested Monday night after police spotted him allegedly driving erratically on Interstate 70. Officers said they saw him toss a bag out of his car that turned out to contain 15 pounds of pure-heroin that could fetch nearly $4 million.

The newspaper said federal agents were checking into Alvarado-Cebrero's immigration status.
