Third quake in week hits northern Texas

CLEBURNE, Texas, June 8 (UPI) -- A 2.3 magnitude earthquake was reported southwest of Dallas early Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The small quake was the third one reported in Johnson County, Texas, about 50 miles southwest of Dallas, in the past week, The Dallas Morning News reported.

A 2.6 magnitude temblor was reported Sunday in Parker, Texas, and a 2.8 magnitude quake hit Cleburne, Texas, scene of Monday's quake, June 2.

Cleburne City Manager Chester Nolen told the newspaper there were no reports of injuries or damage in the town.
