WASHINGTON, June 7 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama, back in the United States after his big speech in Egypt and a stop in France, spent part of Sunday playing golf.

With his wife and daughters still in France, the president ducked out of the White House 90 minutes after getting home and headed out to the Andrews Air Force Base course with his clubs to enjoy a round ,with skies only partly cloudy and temperatures about 80 degrees.

Meanwhile, the White House said Saturday Obama will receive Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi at the White House June 15. The White House statement said the president "looks forward to discussing preparations for the G8 Summit that will take place in L'Aquila, Italy, in July and consulting with the prime minister on a broad range of strategic issues of mutual concern."

L'Aquila was the site of a devastating earthquake April 6. The G8 summit, set to begin July 8, was relocated there at Berlusconi's suggestion.
