Suleman remorseful over birth of octuplets

WHITTIER, Calif., June 5 (UPI) -- Nadya Suleman, dubbed the Octomom by members of the U.S. media, says she regrets giving birth to her octuplets.

ABC News reported Friday that in a recent interview with Radar Online, Suleman expressed remorse over her decision to undergo in-vitro fertilization treatment and eventually give birth to eight children.

"I screwed my life up, I screwed up my kids' life," said Suleman, who already had six other children when she gave birth to the octuplets in January.

"What the heck am I going to do? I have to put on this strong face, and I have to pretend like I don't regret it," she added.

Suleman also discussed the unidentified man who allegedly helped father all of her children, ABC News reported.

"I coerced him into helping me every year.... The more kids I had, the stronger connection I had with him, and I couldn't even imagine anyone else, and he knew that," Suleman, whose other six children were also the result of in-vitro fertilization efforts, told Radar Online.
