NEW DELHI, June 5 (UPI) -- A terror suspect arrested in New Delhi has ties to the founder of the Pakistani terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba, an Indian official said Friday.

Press Trust of India reported that Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said the suspect, Mohammed Omar Madni, has ties to Lashkar-e-Toiba founder Hafeez Saeed.

The minister said Madni was in charge of recruiting young men and sending them to Pakistan through Nepal for terror training.
