Two found guilty of sadistic killings

LONDON, June 4 (UPI) -- A reputed British psychopath and a drug addict were found guilty Thursday of the sadistic torture-murder of two French students, court officials said.

Dano Sonnex and Nigel Farmer were convicted of torturing Laurent Bonomo and Gabriel Ferez for three hours at their South London home, stabbing them an estimated 250 times, and after killing them torching their home last June.

Bonomo, who Sonnex later said "just wouldn't die," was stabbed 194 times and Ferez suffered 50 knife wounds, some of them after his death, the Times of London reported.

Hours later Farmer set fire to the apartment, leaving firefighters to find what prosecutors called a "scene of almost unimaginable horror."
