TONOPAH, Nev., June 3 (UPI) -- The owner of a brothel in Nye County, Nev., says she is considering hiring male prostitutes to help boost business at her Shady Lady Ranch.

Shady Lady Ranch owner Bobbi Davis said she is ready to begin interviewing potential male employees for the prostitution positions at her site in Nye County, where prostitution is legal, the Las Vegas Sun reported Tuesday.

Nevada Brothel Association spokesman George Flint said at least four other brothels in Nevada are also considering adding male workers to their payrolls amid the ongoing economic downturn.

But Flint said for those new workers to begin working, alterations would have to be made to the county's administrative code.

"All of the Nevada Administrative Code is built on the female anatomy," Flint told the Sun.

Davis told the newspaper the charge for spending time with her possible new male prostitutes would likely run visitors $500 for a minimum two-hour session or an overnight stay for $2,000.
