KOHAT, Pakistan, June 1 (UPI) -- Two people were killed and 18 others wounded Monday when an explosion ripped through a bus station in Pakistan's northwest, officials said.

The apparent bomb struck the bus station in Kohat in the North West Frontier province, where recent attacks by militants in Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan have killed nearly a dozen civilians, CNN reported.
